The final release of 3.0.0 is now available for download from SourceForge or Maven.

This release updates the minimum compatible Java to version 8 and removes the redundant backport dependencies.

Following this release work on iCal4j will focus on outstanding fixes and features requests, specifically targeting the new Java date/time API and support for alternate formats (e.g. XML, JSON, etc.)
